During a brief encounter with higher education I majored in fine arts, then worked for more than 20
years in the graphic design, marketing, and publishing industries as a designer, consultant, and illustrator. Twelve years ago I
became a freelance graphic designer and shortly thereafter started to paint, then to make prints. Six years ago I abandoned freelance
design to focus on making fine art.
